Role Overview

We are looking for a talented Technical Product Manager to lead the development and expansion of our Document Verification Product. This role requires a strong understanding of identity verification technologies, document scanning, document understanding, document forgery, and related compliance frameworks. The Technical Product Manager will collaborate with algorithm, engineering, data, and business teams to build scalable and innovative solutions that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the document verification product, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market needs.
  • Technical Leadership: Deliver technical expertise in advanced document verification technology, focusing on OCR, quality assessment, fraud detection, and more. Lead the development of high-standard document verification solutions across both frontend and backend, serving diverse local and global clients. Work closely with partners and vendors to ensure seamless integration, high-quality outcomes, and impactful, scalable solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with algorithm, engineering, compliance, R&D, and business teams to design and implement solutions that meet performance, security, and regulatory standards.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, and opportunities for innovation in document verification technology.
  • Customer Engagement: Gather customer feedback and requirements through direct engagement and translate them into actionable product features that improve the user experience.
  • End-to-End Product Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to development, launch, and ongoing enhancements, ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure document verification solutions meet compliance and regulatory standards, especially regarding data privacy and security.
  • Metrics & Performance: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven insights to measure product success, optimize user engagement, and inform product decisions.
  • Innovation & Scaling: Explore and introduce cutting-edge technology improvements, such as AI-driven document validation, anti-fraud measures, and automated workflows.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally in document verification, identity management, or related technology domains.
  • Technical Skills: Technical expertise in document verification technologies, including OCR, image processing, and fraud detection tools, as well as other deep learning technologies.
  • [Plus] Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of identity verification regulations and global compliance requirements (e.g., KYC, AML).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface between technical teams, stakeholders, and business units.
  • Track Record: Proven track record in driving product innovation, user-centric design, and delivering high-performance solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project Management Skills: Skilled in prioritizing tasks, managing projects, and delivering results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
