We are looking for a driven and resilient salesperson with expertise in/or working with clients within the Funds Management & Asset Management space. This is an exciting new role, where you will be responsible for driving new sales across North Asia by selling our Funds Data & Multi-Asset Analytics solutions, to both existing and new clients.
Ideally based in Hong Kong, as part of the APAC Analytics Sales team, you will be responsible for pro-actively prospecting, qualifying and closing new sales opportunities.
Our analytics solutions are underpinned by accurate data, comprehensive asset class coverage, sophisticated market-leading models and world-class global expertise. Spanning across various best-in-class datasets, asset coverage and services, we provide a one-stop solution for all our clients’ analytics needs.
Market-leading models, granular cashflows, real-time user-specified curves, robust derived analytics and integrated workflows enable our buy-side and sell-side customers globally to access analytical solutions across the breadth of their business requirements.
This is a sales role which drives Funds Data Solutions & Multi-asset Analytics Solutions' gross sales by proactively developing and closing solutions sales opportunities across dedicated client portfolio, Fund managers, Asset Managers, Asset Owners, Banks' Risk Managers.
Sales Specialists are responsible for executing Refinitiv's strategy for growth and market differentiation. They work with and provide market insight to our Product Management and Account Management teams to support execution of this strategy.

Sales Specialists are responsible for executing Refinitiv's strategy for growth and market differentiation. They work with and provide market insight to our Product Management and Account Management teams to support execution of this strategy.
Responsibilities you will perform:
- Generate new business by identifying new logos and up-selling / cross selling into existing clients
- Develop and execute clear strategies for targeting prioritized opportunities
- Structure, negotiate and close deals, ownership of the Refinitiv Investment & Advisory solutions offering across the designated region
- Grow Refinitiv’s market share by proactively developing and deploying domain-based strategies in collaboration with market development and account management teams
- Act as a subject matter expert to act in support of Account Managers by focusing on sales for the Analytics proposition in the given territory. Lead on deals aligned to specific propositions and serve accounts within the defined territory. The role works in close partnership with internal stakeholders to proactively drive gross sales and revenue
- Focus on growth and responsible for gross sales within predefined portfolio of accounts or territory
- Proactively identify pipeline opportunities, governed by the Account Managers
- Develop the sales strategy for their proposition within their territory
- Deliver customer demonstrations on their specific propositions
- Promote insights relevant to customers’ workflow and act as a voice of the customer internally, feeding back their experiences
- Identify opportunities to raise to Account Manager for action and share insights to aid sales process
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date customer contact, engagement and opportunity data in the appropriate Client Relationship Management Systems
- Sales background with domain expertise within financial markets, preferably within the Funds Management field and/or financial analytics field.
- Experience working with collective investments and knowledge of the industry
- Knowledge of market data is an advantage
- Demonstrable sales experience within the financial services
- Proven track record in a quota bearing sales environment
- World class selling skills (identify, develop, & articulate proposition/ consultative selling) as a “hunter”
- Strong sales ‘closer’
- Significant Product and Workflow Expertise (e.g. knowledge of financial modelling, Excel, MS Office); knowledge of trading floor tech / data apps
- Ability to organize and execute a sales plan
- Strong communication skills. Mandarin is a plus
