Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals. Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team to drive business growth and profitability.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting, ensuring accurate and timely financial planning and analysis.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure the preparation of accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory standards. Present financial performance to the executive team and stakeholders.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring liquidity to support operational needs and strategic investments.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Provide mentorship and training to enhance team capabilities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions, to ensure compliance and effective financial management.
- Tax Compliance: Oversee tax planning and compliance to optimize tax liabilities while ensuring adherence to local regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards in Singapore and the ASEAN region.
- Proven track record in strategic financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
