Role Overview
The Head of Energy Transition & Decarbonization is a leadership role within SATS Group, responsible for developing and executing the company’s global decarbonization strategy.
This individual will oversee the implementation of local decarbonization roadmaps across all business units, ensuring consistency and progress towards our net-zero goals. As the company’s subject matter expert in energy transition, electrification of vehicles, and low-carbon technologies, the Head of Energy Transition & Decarbonization will assess and prioritize decarbonization initiatives by impact, feasibility and cost-effectiveness.

Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree or equivalent professional qualifications are preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in decarbonization, energy management, sustainability, or a related field, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise in energy transition, electrification of vehicles, low-carbon technologies, renewable energy, and GHG reduction strategies.
- Strong understanding of global and local regulations, standards, and best practices related to decarbonization and sustainability.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute complex, multi-year decarbonization plans.
- Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale sustainability initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
