- Candidates must havevaluation experience, preferably within an accounting / professional services firm or a banking environment
Responsibilities would include:
- Lead and execute valuation engagements, managing teams to ensure high-quality outcomes
- Conduct valuations of businesses, securities, and intangible assets using various methodologies including discounted cash flow, capitalised maintainable earnings, and option pricing models.
- Analyse market data, and industry trends to determine valuation inputs.
- Construct, review and amend financial models.
- Prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations for clients.
- Review and interpret financial statements to determine business operations, drivers and performance indicators.
- Assisting in other advisory work such as transaction support, mergers & acquisitions, business planning and reorganisation
- Working closely with directors on client management, practice development, and business development activities
Profile of ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline, professional qualifications such as CPA, FRM, CFA, or CVA are advantageous
- 5 to 10 years of valuation or financial due diligence experience, preferably within an accounting or professional services firm, or in a banking environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with excellent analytical and evaluation abilities and strong interpersonal skills
- Highly self-motivated, capable of working independently, while also building effective relationships with senior management and thriving in a collaborative team environment
- Strong work ethic, interpersonal skills, and passion for adding value
