The Head of Organizational and Talent Development will play a key leadership role in shaping and executing our talent strategy on a global scale. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing programs that enhance employee engagement, develop leadership skills, promote continuous learning, and support career growth across all levels of the organization. Reporting directly to the Head of Human Resources, this role will focus on creating a high-performance culture and driving initiatives that attract, retain, and develop top talent globally.

Job Description:

Talent Development Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global talent development strategy aligned with the company’s strategic goals and cultural values.
  • Lead initiatives focused on leadership development, high-potential identification, and succession planning across regions and departments.

Learning and Development:

  • Design and oversee the execution of training and development programs tailored to diverse employee needs, from entry-level to executive roles.
  • Champion continuous learning, providing resources and development opportunities that support skill enhancement and career advancement.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee global performance management processes, ensuring they are fair, transparent, and focused on growth.
  • Establish KPIs for employee performance and development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):

  • Partner with the DEI team to promote a diverse and inclusive work environment, incorporating DEI principles into all talent development programs.
  • Create initiatives to increase cultural competence and cross-regional collaboration.

Employee Engagement & Culture:

  • Drive strategies to enhance employee engagement and create a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
  • Conduct regular surveys and leverage data analytics to assess employee engagement and implement targeted improvement initiatives.

Change Management:

  • Lead change management efforts associated with organizational transformations, including new technology, process updates, and structural changes.
  • Develop change management programs to help leaders and employees adapt to and thrive in an evolving global environment.

Data & Analytics:

  • Use data-driven insights to assess the impact of talent development programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Implement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of training, leadership development, and engagement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM, CPLP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in organizational and talent development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Prior experience in a global fintech environment, with a solid understanding of industry-specific challenges.
  • Ability to converse in Chinese to communicate with Chinese speaking associates.
  • Strong understanding of HR analytics and data interpretation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influence skills; ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms, remote work technologies, and contemporary learning models.
