Job Description:

  • To achieve sales targets of fund distribution businesses in South East Asia market primarily through institutional and HNW channels.
  • Work cohesively with the Hong Kong office to have the best execution in sales strategy and relationship building with clients
  • Can identify the best customized strategy and approach to work with each institutional clients
  • Acquire market intelligence like peer information, product trend, industrial update, and client feedback regularly and able to integrate into the business plan.
  • Able to conduct professional sales presentation, product update and market outlook to institutional clients upon requests.
  • To potentially take up CEO function from MAS perspective, manage the overall institutional business development in the region.

Job Requirement:

  • A Business or Economics Bachelor Degree.
  • A minimum of 15 relevant years of “hands on” sales experience and business engagement in Financial Services industry particularly in asset management sector with client facing experience in Institutions and Family Offices.
  • At least 10 years managerial experience or experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Able to clearly articulate in the nuance of complex investment strategies to both expert and prospects / partners who are less literate in finance / investment.
  • Good understanding in fund products and other kind of investment vehicles.
  • Result-oriented with strong initiative and drive to succeed.
  • A discipline person who is able to respond promptly to serve existing clients and other investors across the market.
  • A person who is thorough with client engagement strategy.
  • A strong team player who can work independently, yet contribute to achieving common objectives in a constructive, collaborative and team oriented manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin to serve China market.
  • Proficiency in another Asian language is an advantage.
  • A presentable personality to conduct seminar, presentation, regular sales pitch and briefing to clients fluently and convincingly.
  • Well verse in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered as Managing Director level.
