We are looking for a highly qualified, experienced and dedicated Specialist in Health and Wellbeing to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and contributing to the development of both the health and wellbeing curriculum, fostering interdisciplinary learning, supporting student engagement and course management. The role involves collaborating with other course instructors in designing course content, delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student performance in both theoretical and practical aspects of the field, and discharging all course-related administrative duties.

Responsibilities
The hired Specialist/ Senior Specialist will have the following responsibilities:
- Facilitates and conducts all teaching assignments for both the health and wellbeing domains of the module, with a focus on interdisciplinary and collaborative learning
- Collaborates with the other course specialists to foster student learning, stimulates class discussions, and ensures student engagement through developing, designing and continuously improving curriculum plans, course outlines, evaluation procedures and instruments
- Designs, develops and updates course materials and assessments to ensure alignment with current health and wellbeing trends and best practices, including curriculum plans, course outlines, evaluation procedures and instruments etc
- Manages course-related administrative duties
- Conducts assessments, including and not limited to, marking and grade entries, investigating academic integrity issues and follow-up student support as needed
- Provides guidance and feedback to students on academic and non-academic matters, including feedback, student consultations and invigilation, etc
- Provides regular course and student progress statistics for reporting and strategic decision making
- Demonstrates values and principles of professional conduct in all endeavours
- Takes on the role of course lead coordinator when necessary
- Any other assigned duties

Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:
- A Master's degree in a clinical or medical field such as Medicine, Public Health, Nutrition, Dietetics, Nursing, Epidemiology, or related discipline from a recognised institution, at the point of appointment.
- Demonstrated expertise with a minimum of 3 years teaching and/or professional training experience, with a strong understanding of interdisciplinary approaches
- Is empathetic, compassionate, and has strong understanding of young people's mental and physical health needs and challenges are necessary.
- Is a team player with a strong sense of collegiality and has willingness to understand and support colleagues in their work.
- Has strong group facilitation skills and possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Is self-starter who is motivated to takes initiatives and work independently while being responsible and accountable to the larger teaching team.
- Those with educational research experiences including quantitative and qualitative methodologies are preferred.
