Job Overview

The Association of Advertising & Marketing Singapore (AAMS) is seeking a proactive and personable Membership Executive to join our team. This role is key to driving the growth and engagement of our membership base, particularly in fostering a strong network within the Ad Marcom industry. The ideal candidate will be skilled in relationship management, have a keen understanding of the advertising and marketing landscape, and possess a talent for strategic outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

Membership Acquisition & Outreach:

  • Identify, target, and recruit new members, with a focus on industry leaders in the Ad Marcom sector.
  • Conduct outreach campaigns, leveraging both digital channels and networking events to attract prospective members.
  • Present the benefits and value propositions of joining AAMS to potential members, tailoring messaging to align with specific needs and goals.

Member Engagement & Retention:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing members, ensuring their needs are met and they remain engaged with our programs and initiatives.
  • Organize and coordinate member events, workshops, and networking sessions to foster community and add value.
  • Address member inquiries and resolve concerns promptly, delivering a high level of customer service.

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Track membership metrics, including acquisition, retention rates, and engagement levels.
  • Update and maintain accurate records in the membership database.
  • Generate reports for management to inform strategy and evaluate the effectiveness of membership initiatives.

Communication & Marketing Support:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns aimed at raising awareness of AAMS’s offerings.
  • Create and distribute regular newsletters and updates for members, ensuring timely communication of upcoming events, news, and industry insights.
  • Support content creation efforts by contributing ideas that resonate with our members’ interests and professional goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in membership services, client relationship management, or a related role in the advertising or marketing industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM or membership management software is a plus.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
