Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain the full set of accounts for the company, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, as the sole accounting professional in the company.
Responsible for all aspects of the accounting and financial functions of the company.
Process payroll, employee expense claims, statutory contributions (CPF, IRAS submissions, etc.) and government reimbursements (childcare leave, paternity leave, NSmen makeup pay, etc.)
Ensure timely submission of GST returns and other regulatory filings, taking full responsibility for compliance.
Monitor and manage foreign currency exposure.
Prepare and manage monthly financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts independently.
Prepare IR8A forms for employees to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.
Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders during audits and year-end closing.
Analyse the financial performance of the company and provide recommendations for improvement.
Review financial procedures, internal controls, and business processes/systems to ensure effective controls are in place.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support overall financial planning and decision-making.
Handle any ad hoc accounting and finance tasks as required by management.
