Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and goal-oriented Admission Counsellor to lead our campus Admissions team, focusing on prospecting, nurturing, and converting prospective leads into successful student enrollments. This role involves supervising the admissions staff, collaborating with various departments, and developing strategies to increase enrolment. The ideal candidate will manage performance metrics for the Admissions team and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new students.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the prospecting, nurturing, and closing processes for prospective students within the Admissions team.
- Supervise and provide guidance to Business Development Managers, Admissions Executives, and Customer Relations Officers/Parent Liaison Officers.
- Manage daily operations to meet performance metrics and ensure the Admissions team achieves monthly targets.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Academics teams to develop effective strategies that increase student enrolment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective parents, quickly addressing their needs and concerns.
- Assist in planning and organizing campus events such as Open Houses, parent-teacher events, and student orientations.
- Monitor both online and offline channels for lead generation and ensure prompt follow-up with prospective parents.
- Act as the primary contact for new parents, guiding them through the admissions process, scholarships, and onboarding for new students.
- Stay updated on competitor offerings and provide feedback to improve the admissions process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with prospective parents.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to supervise and guide a team.
- Experience in sales or business development within the education sector is a plus.
- Ability to meet performance targets and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail in managing the admissions process.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and lead generation strategies.
