Data Center Sales Manager / Senior Sales Manager (Singapore)
Job Description:
- Market Strategy and Sales Execution: Lead the development and execution of targeted sales strategies to penetrate the Singapore data center market, focusing on telecom operators and enterprise clients. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and ensure sales targets are consistently met.
- New Market Exploration: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Singapore and Southeast Asian markets. Build and maintain relationships with key local clientele, including telecom operators, IT service providers, and enterprise-level customers. Establish strategic partnerships to enhance market reach and visibility.
- Customer-Centric Solutions: Engage with potential and existing customers to deeply understand their needs. Showcase our unique service capabilities by providing tailored, integrated hardware solutions. Position our projects as benchmark solutions that highlight quality and innovation, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Internal Collaboration & Project Delivery: Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment on sales initiatives and delivery capabilities. Lead efforts to ensure successful implementation of projects, maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably with at least 3 years of People management experience and a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience in the Data Center sector, specifically in Singapore.
- Experience in Southeast Asia Sales, with familiarity with industry-specific terminology in the power sector, is advantageous.
- Proven track record in sales, showcasing expertise with data center hardware, including power solutions, cooling solutions, rack and enclosure solutions, and monitoring and edge solutions, particularly in electrical and mechanical equipment
- .Strong network and established relationships with clients in data centers, colocation service providers, and telecom operators are significant assets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and sales skills, demonstrating the ability to independently drive and complete sales tasks with confidence.
- Strong team spirit and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-departmental teams.
- Strong market analysis, promotion, and development skills, with a keen sense of market trends and project operation experience.
- Fluency in both English and Chinese is required, as engagement with Chinese-speaking counterparts and management of English-speaking customers in the region are essential.
- Ability to conduct business communications with international clients.
