Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Institutional Derivatives Sales professional to join our team. The Sales Professional will be someone with relevant existing relationships in financial markets and is responsible for supporting the Sales team in generating revenue by developing new business and maintaining existing relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for business development and execution of sales strategies.
- Drive sales of exchange-traded and exchange-cleared OTC derivatives products to the targeted clients.
- Build new institutional business by on-boarding new clients.
- Manage and maintain relations with existing client portfolios.
- Increase existing institutional business by increasing share of client business.
- Work on a team level to identify new opportunities within the target market.
- Job training will be provided, and our support is available to develop your knowledge of the other global major exchanges via the various trading channels.
- Develop network of professional contacts with the aim of introducing new business, enhancing technical knowledge, and promoting the company's brand.
- Develop and maintain internal relationships with other channels and functional teams to onboard new clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales trading/dealing with institutional clients or institutional sales experience preferred.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese/or Japanese is mandatory for liaising with Chinese/Japanese clients.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and able to engage customer of all levels with assertiveness.
- Strong business sense and self-motivated with good sales management skills and able to work independently.
- Ability to focus and prioritise the key initiatives across a broad range of opportunities and relationships.
