Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Business Development Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with management to align business objectives, execute product development plans, and manage go-to-market strategies. This role requires an understanding of, or willingness to learn about, FMCG retail food products. The ideal candidate will also lead events and tradeshows, communicate with key partners, and prepare the company's brand for internationalization. You should possess a business-related diploma and demonstrate a commitment to acquiring new skills, particularly in exports and food-related knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Alignment & Execution
o Work with management to align business objectives with product development and market expansion strategies.
o Execute product development plans, ensuring alignment with market trends, customer preferences, and company goals.
o Implement go-to-market strategies for new and existing FMCG retail food products to ensure successful market entry and growth.
2. International Brand Preparation
o Lead the effort to ready the brand for international expansion, focusing on compliance with global standards and market requirements.
o Ensure all branding, packaging, and product positioning are tailored to meet the needs of international markets.
3. Event & Tradeshow Leadership
o Plan, organize, and lead the execution of local and international tradeshows and events to promote the company's brand and products.
o Represent the brand at industry events, building connections and strengthening partnerships with key stakeholders.
4. Partner Communication & Relationship Management
o Maintain open communication with partners to ensure collaboration and maximize the value of the company's brand.
o Build and nurture relationships with potential partners, distributors, and retailers to expand business opportunities.
5. Skill Development & Industry Knowledge
o Stay informed about the FMCG food industry, including trends, regulations, and consumer preferences.
o Acquire and apply new skills related to food exports, international trade, and market compliance.
Requirements:
. Education: Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
. Skills:
o Willingness to learn about FMCG retail food products, market strategies, and international trade.
o Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
o Ability to manage events, tradeshows, and partner relationships.
o Detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
