Overall Job Responsibility

You will work with various Social Service Agencies (SSAs) to manage the funded disability programmes to oversee and manage different disability programmes and services, to ensure that they continue to support and meet the needs of persons with disabilities and their caregivers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Programme Management

  • Monitor, review and enhance funded disability programmes
  • Monitor programmes’ service delivery standards, and support capability building efforts
  • Manage feedback and incidents
  • Review and identify gaps in the service landscape by analysing trends and needs of service users in the disability sector
  • Provide support in the formulation of overall strategic directions for services in the disability sector

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Promote and develop good working relationship with Social Service Agencies, Government agencies and other relevant stakeholders
  • Influence, guide and manage internal and external stakeholders to best support the disability sector and the team’s work

Funders’ Management

  • Put up reports to support the renewal of funding for programmes
  • Manage reporting to funders
  • Fulfill additional requests from funders, e.g. profiling requests

Others

  • Secretariat support and any other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience

  • Good degree, with at least 2 to 3 years’ track record in similar work. Social/disability sector background would be an advantage
  • Strong command of English; able to write, present and communicate well
  • Proactive, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Team player, also able to work independently
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and versatile to take on other roles when called upon
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
