Part-Time Lecturer for IE4728 - Enterprise Network Design
The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites qualified candidates to apply as Part-time Lecturer for IE4728 - Enterprise Network Design. The Part-time Lecturer is expected to teach an undergraduate course commencing in January 2025.
This 13-week course is a specialized area in computer and intelligent systems. Year 3 students who is in Major Prescribed Electives and Final year students can choose to take this Design Elective.
This course aims to provide you the knowledge for designing, setting up and managing an IP based enterprise network. Students will acquire necessary practical skills in planning and configuring an IP network in a simulated environment and to validate the operations of the network.
Students will participate in hands on lab sessions, through creating the network and access control lists using Packet Tracer network simulator and IPv4 network setting up and IPv6 tunnelling.
Successful candidates will have a Masters and/or PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and past teaching experience at undergraduate level.
Preference will be given to candidates who have background in IP addressing and subnetting; IPv4; IPv6 tunneling schemes; access control lists and network design.
