Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Marketing & Communications

. Assist in developing and executing online and offline marketing campaigns to promote events, fundraising initiatives, and programmes.

. Support the content creation process for the charity's social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), email newsletters, and website.

. Draft compelling copy for email blasts and website updates to showcase success stories, donor highlights, and campaign milestones.

. Monitor and analyse marketing metrics to measure the success of communications strategies and suggest improvements.

2. Event Coordination

. Support the planning and coordination of charity events, including fundraising events, community outreach, and awareness campaigns.

. Assist in liaising with event vendors, sponsors, and volunteers to ensure smooth event execution.

. Manage event logistics, such as registration, volunteer coordination, and on-site support.

. Prepare event materials such as brochures, banners, and promotional content.

. Ensure post-event follow-up, including thank-you notes and post-event reports.

3. Branding & Public Relations

. Assist with maintaining brand consistency across all communications materials.

. Support media outreach efforts by compiling media lists and assisting with pitches.

4. Admin

. Maintain department records, answer and transfer calls, collect and distribute mail, and manage enquiry emails.

. Track inventory and stock supplies, and ensure low supplies are highlighted for replenishment.

. Perform any other admin and operations-related tasks as needed.

Requirements:

. Able to commit 3 months or more.

. Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.

. Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems (eg. Canva, Facebook Ads).

. Creative thinker with the ability to develop engaging content for a variety of audiences.

. Organised, with excellent multitasking and time management skills.

. Proactive and willing to take on new challenges.

. A passion for social causes and interest in supporting non-profit work.
