Job Responsibilities
- Receive goods, track deliveries, and liaise with suppliers and supply chain team.
- Provide support to the admin team and Assistant Production Manager/Production Manager.
- Assist in printing out orders for packers.
- Prepare delivery orders and arrange job deliveries.
- Compile the vendor invoices & accurately match it against corresponding delivery orders (DO) & purchase orders (PO).
- Generate sales invoice and key in vendor invoices into the system. • Prepare and assist in monthly stock takes.
- General administrative duties but not limited to data entry, filing only.
- Sorting, tidying of raw material, de-cartoning and arranging of ingredients.
- Check and verifies all goods/merchandises are received in good condition and quality, also ensuring that the quantity of goods/merchandises received are in accordance with PO, match unit price vs the specification accordance against the PO.
- Ensure that all goods/merchandises received or rejected goods/merchandises are properly documented and accounted for.
- Ensure daily posting of all invoices and store requisitions into the Purchasing System (SCM) System and submit to cost controller for verification.
- Account for any discrepancies in the physical inventories and advise in-charge of any material differences.
- Implement proper control in maintain security of all storage area
- Follow up on any outstanding orders for goods/merchandises that have not been received and follow the protocols of reporting outstanding orders.
- Co-ordinate closely with the central kitchen chefs and other departments regarding stock requirements.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Certificate/NITEC/Higher-NITEC in administrative, logistics or supply chain management.
- Preferably at least 1 year of work experience in the Food Services, Manufacturing or related field.
- Able to handle physical work to carry loads up to 20kg.
- Willing to work in a central kitchen environment.
- Good command of written and oral communication skills.
- Possess initiative to understand work flows and processes in order to work efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to work as a group and individual with effective organizational and follow-up skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and able to interact with all levels, internally and externally in a professional and responsive manner.
