We are looking for driven and dynamic individuals who are able to work in the Business Process Management team for 6 months (January to June 2025). The intern will report to and assist the Business Process Manager to drive exciting change initiatives to streamline, improve and automate our Supply Chain Process. In the process, the intern will get exposure to management consulting related, change management and project management experiences.What you can expect to achieve out of this internship

Key tasks and responsibilities
  • Responsible for identifying and documenting the current state of processes within the Supply Chain Department, including interviewing process participants and mapping out the process in swimlane diagrams
  • Evaluate, identify, design, document and implement new models of the process
  • Learn relevant applications well as it relates to functional area, and also how it is impacted/impacts other functional areas
  • Support the business process manager in designing and testing new tools or improving existing ones to enable and automate the new models of processes. This includes specifying requirements, documenting them and testing new functionality/configurations/developments
  • Support business process manager in align supply chain operating model to support new process, including redesigning job scope, aligning job titles and reporting lines and updating of job descriptions
  • Understand, extract, process and manipulate data to provide analysis, report and generate business insights to support Supply Chain business strategic goals. This includes supporting the business process manager to analyse spend data to identify cost savings opportunities; building historic base lines and generating insights on vendor/category management; and establishing department's KPI
  • Support the business process manager in initiatives to improve data accuracy and integrity
  • Facilitating stakeholder groups to consensus regarding new business process designs
  • Maintain basic data and configuration settings within assigned area
  • Train other users (primarily local super users) in processes and applications
  • Help resolve challenges reported by other users, including taking ownership of issues and work with others in order to get issues resolved
  • Participate in projects and initiatives that impact/is impacted by functional area to ensure that correct processes are implemented and/or adjusted
RequirementsEducation
  • In the process of attaining a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or other relevant educational background
  • LEAN or SIX SIGMA will be an advantage
Experience or Skill SetsCandidates with all or some of the following experiences/skill sets will have an advantage:
  • Project management
  • Swimlane process mapping
  • Macro programming and data manipulation using Microsoft excel experiences will be highly valued
  • SQL statements to access and manipulate data
  • IFS or some ERP system experience will have advantage
