Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial planning and analysis at the Group level
  • Perform financial budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking for Corporate departments
  • Provide analysis and insights to management around financial modelling, forecasting and profitability, and provide detailed analysis and commentary
  • Carry out benchmarking of operational and financial performance parameters, and highlight business issues that impact overall revenue and cost
  • Partner with Corporate department heads to set clear performance targets, undertake analytics-based decision making and enhance overall market competitiveness
  • Monitor capital expenditure for Group projects and review returns on investments
  • Coordinate annual budget exercise and regular business performance reviews with top management
  • Conduct financial stress tests based on Corporate department’s forecast performances
  • Work with statutory accounting teams to ensure that financial transactions are structured effectively and documented systematically
  • Support in regular review and update of Group corporate control policies
  • Collaborate with Shared Services and IT teams on improvement initiatives such as building a performance analytics system, enhancing cost tracking and analysis etc.
  • Support strategic business projects and ad-hoc projects assigned from time to time (including Vivace & Thore).

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent is required.
  • 10 - 12 years of relevant experience gained in a corporate or MNC environment. Working experience in high-growth technology or manufacturing companies is preferred;
  • Working experience with SAP and Corporate Performance Management software (such as SAP BPC, Cognos, Power BI, Prophix or Tagetik etc.).
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel and Power BI is a must; Tableau software is a plus.
  • Independent, resourceful and possess ability to partner cross functionally, through strong relationship building and communication skills, with all levels of management;
  • Analytical, strong commercial sense, with keen eye for details and hands-on;
  • High energy with a can-do and positive attitude, thrive in a dynamic environment and deliver within time constraints;
  • Communicates in a clear, succinct, organized and convincing manner verbally and in writing. Written and verbal fluency in English is a must;
  • Constantly strive for process efficiencies and improvement through review of workflow and processes.
