Executive/Senior Executive, Vessel Operations (Global HQ)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform schedule arrangement including informing relevant parties
• Conduct vessel operations for safe passage and saving of bunker
• Communicate clearly and timely with Vessel Master, agent and other stakeholders for smooth and efficient operations
• Arrange bunker with cost efficiency and effectiveness as primary focus by working with all relevant parties
• Coordinate and arrange for vessel repairs in a suitable circumstances to minimize cost and downtime
• Monitor port situations (i.e. congestion, etc.) and make necessary adjustments to schedule
• Ensure all arrangements for new delivery or re-delivery as per checklist are followed

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Transportation or Logistics or relevant discipline
• 2 - 3 years of experience in liner shipping operations
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work with various stakeholders
• Team player and able to work independently under pressure
• Experience in MS Suite
• Competency certificate class 3 not a must but would be welcome
