SALES & MARKET BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ASIA - SINGAPORE BASED

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Market Business Development colleague to join our team in Singapore and drive growth in the Asian market!

Purpose of Position:


  • Develop new business opportunities at existing and new clients and manage relationships with existing clients
  • Develop sales for I’m greenPE biobased and other our sustainable product solutions
  • Generate ideas and support in the development of new segments and markets for direct sales
  • Support in approaching Brand Owners and lead the contact to their converters
  • Support the global teams to analyse the Asian market for sustainable products.


Key Accountabilities:

Ensure:


  • In line with the sales strategy to define the target segments and type of customer for I’m greenPE sales
  • Develop new markets for I'm green bio-based with a focus on SEA, AUS, Korea, India.
  • Develop PCR market knowledge and sell our gPE/PCR compound
  • Get first-hand market intelligence on pricing and trends for sustainable solutions


Carry out:


  • Implementation of the sales targets
  • Preparation of price statements, price negotiations and contract preparation
  • Preparation and execution of product presentations by customers
  • Interface between the customer and other departments of the company, e.g. Supply Chain, Customer Service CSR, Financial Accounting, Marketing, etc.
  • Research and development of new business opportunities for existing customers and acquisition of new customers
  • Analysis of markets and trends


Technical / Management Knowledge


  • Bachelor or higher education level (technical or commercial)
  • Pro-active self-starter, who can work well independently and in a team; willingness to learn and to train
  • Must be fluent in English, additional language skills are a big plus
  • Min 3 years of experience in direct customer or brand owner contact (technical, marketing or commercial)
  • Affinity with sustainability
  • Strong communication skills (listening as well as presenting)
  • Strong perseverance, Entrepreneurial spirit and Self-starting mentality
  • Willing to travel
