The successful candidate will join the Maintenance Planning & Cost Control (MPCC) Department in SIA Engineering Division. You will be part of the team that plans and implements Boeing / Airbus aircraft maintenance programs and ensures all mandatory airworthiness tasks meet regulatory and operational requirements, as part of the Division’s mission to achieve the highest airworthiness and safety standards at competitive cost.

The successful candidate will join the Maintenance Planning & Cost Control (MPCC) Department in SIA Engineering Division. You will be part of the team that plans and implements Boeing / Airbus aircraft maintenance programs and ensures all mandatory airworthiness tasks meet regulatory and operational requirements, as part of the Division’s mission to achieve the highest airworthiness and safety standards at competitive cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement Boeing / Airbus aircraft maintenance programs (AMP) and ensuring all mandatory airworthiness tasks meet regulatory and operational requirements
- Coordinating with Aircraft Sales, Technical Services, SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC), MPCC Engine Management and buyer/lessor to provide a complete Work Package for the Sale Aircraft
- Manage the aircraft components to meet the sales/return conditions
- Optimise work package to meet sales / return to lessor requirements
- Ensure that aircraft components meet sales / return to lessor contractual conditions to minimize costs to SIA
- Checking the details of maintenance tasks that are included in Aircraft Maintenance Work Package prepared by SIAEC and/or other service providers
- Carry out periodic audit of SIAEC’s Organisation and Procedures Manual (OPM) on the planning portion to ensure alignment of processes with MPCC AMP requirement
- Coordinate with SIAEC (Base Maintenance/Line Maintenance) to carry out aircraft maintenance program tasks timely and efficiently
- Monitoring of landing gear life and cycles and coordination of landing gear replacement
- Monitor due dates for aircraft weighing
- Liaising with MPCC Scheduling and SIAEC for components changes to maintain the fleet airworthiness within statutory requirements
- Declaring of hard life components for Certificate of Maintenance Review (CMR) as required by Quality Department
- Liase with SIAEC to carry out short interval mandatory tasks before due date
- Managing aircraft component replacement program with staggering plan with SIAEC
- Monitoring due dates of Airworthiness Directive Special Inspection (ADSI) and Airworthiness Directive (AD) modifications
- Liase with SIAEC to schedule ADSI and AD modifications before due date
- Track critical tasks using appropriate spreadsheets and plan for their accomplishment at line, base or workshop, or even line stations and external vendors
- Special attention to out-of-phase mandatory tasks
- Close monitoring of flight hour or cycle or calendar day of mandatory tasks as required
- Possess a University Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Preferably with relevant experience in aircraft maintenance planning
- Well-versed with aircraft maintenance documents such as Maintenance Planning Document (MPD), Approved Maintenance Schedule (AMS), Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Part Catalogue (IPC), etc to understand task card requirement. Knowledge of the different aircraft systems and familiarity with aircraft diagnostic tools such as Aircraft Health Monitoring (AHM) and Airman would be an advantage
- Must be familiar with SAP & MS Office suite of products
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be motivated, driven and be a team player and able to work independently
- Strong operational and negotiating skills
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
