This role is under a team who oversees the seamless processing of trade capture, reconciliations, lifecycle events, corporate actions, and client services for Equity Swaps, Equity Executions, and Equity Derivatives businesses.

This role encompasses both Listed and OTC products in Equity and Equity Derivatives across all APAC markets.

We are looking for an adaptable candidate who excels in quantitative analysis, is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in high-pressure situations. The ideal individual will be process-driven, with the ability to streamline operations and manage risks effectively. A strong partnership with internal teams and alignment with organizational objectives is key to enabling success for both the business and its clients.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality operational support for equity derivative, swap, and cash products.
  • Assist the Sales and Trading desks by addressing and resolving inquiries and issues.
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to provide timely solutions to client discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across compliance, credit, sales, trading, legal, risk, and technology to ensure smooth operations.
  • Proactively identify process improvements and strengthen controls to reduce operational risks.
  • Operate as a strong individual performer while contributing to team success.
  • Manage ad-hoc initiatives and coordinate with internal and external teams across regions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent,
  • 2-3 years expereince in trade support for equity derivatives, swaps, or cash products.
  • Solid understanding of the Equity and Equity Derivatives trade lifecycle and corporate actions.
  • Capable of maintaining high standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Risk-focused with the ability to assess the potential P&L impact of processes.
  • Strong understanding of front-to-back operational flows and the broader business impact.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving resolution on issues.
  • Experience in implementing process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Exceptional communication skills at all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word).
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, Reuters, and corporate actions is an advantage.
  • Technical skills in VBA, SQL, Macros, and Alteryx are beneficial.
