The Vice President of Strategic Channels and Partnerships will be a key leader within my client's commercial team, driving the expansion and success of their Partner Ecosystem. This role is focused on cultivating and enhancing relationships with channel partners to ensure the effective market penetration of their data center solutions.

Key Expectations: They are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for forging strong partnerships through strategic channels to accelerate the growth of their data center business in Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel Strategy Development: Design and execute a comprehensive channel partner program aimed at maximizing sales and enhancing market penetration.
  • Relationship Management: Build and sustain robust relationships with key channel partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Incentive Programs: Develop and manage partner incentives, programs, and rewards to drive channel partner performance and engagement.
  • Joint Marketing Initiatives: Collaborate with channel partners on marketing initiatives to generate leads and boost sales.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly evaluate channel partner performance, identifying areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations on contracts and pricing with channel partners, ensuring mutually beneficial and profitable agreements.
  • Industry Insight: Stay informed about industry trends and competitive activities, adjusting the channel strategy as needed to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Training and Education: Develop and deliver training materials and presentations to educate channel partners on our data center solutions.
  • Travel: Travel as necessary to engage with channel partners and participate in industry events.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

  • Network and Relationships: Proven network with channel partners, including system integrators.
  • Collaboration Experience: Strong experience in collaborating with technology partners, global system integrators, and consulting firms.
  • Partner Management: Extensive experience in managing partner relationships, including account and product alignment, developing joint value propositions, and creating marketing programs.
  • Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise in data center colocation and hosting services, with additional knowledge in telecommunications, networking, cloud, and managed services considered an advantage.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM, marketing automation, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience: 20+ years of significant experience in data center or ICT sales.
  • Success in Complex Environments: Proven ability to succeed in a matrix environment with projects of similar size and complexity.
  • Drive and Determination: Highly motivated, results-oriented, and driven to achieve success.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Industry Presence: Experience in presenting at industry events.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to Travel: Willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time.
