Trader Trainee

The Commodities Trainee Programme focuses on building critical skills, knowledge and experience in trading positions, risk management, research and trade execution. The programme is an exciting opportunity to train, learn and work in a dynamic, multinational company with diverse and rising global businesses, and operations in over 35 countries. We are looking specifically for a candidate who will be trained and developed in Asia.

The Programme

In preparation for a holistic appreciation of the Cotton business, the Commodities Trainee Programme will include training and on the job rotations to Operations, Trade Support, Research, Freight, Risk Management and Trading.

Requirements

• University Degree qualified in business administration, economics, agricultural sciences or similar.
• 0-2 years in commodities market.is preferred or at a minimum and this can include either internships or prior experience.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
• An outgoing personality with strong communication skills
• Flexible with a high degree of initative to deal with ambiguous and fast–paced situations.
• Highly numerate.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Global Mindset.
