Job Description
Responsibilities
As part of the CapitaLand Investment SEA business, you will be part of the SEA Investment team, reporting to the Head of Investment. You will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare financial model, feasibility studies and investment memorandums for investments opportunities in the Southeast Asia region, primarily in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam
- Assist in deal execution and transactions, including due diligence, structuring, negotiating, legal documentation, etc
- Participate in deal sourcing, evaluation, structuring, project management, market analysis, as well as business reporting
- Support regional business development efforts for investments and new business ventures opportunities, across various real estate asset classes
- Assist in the planning, compilation, and preparation of regular management reporting
- Conduct research on macroeconomic and real estate market trends, and any other ad hoc studies as required
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Real Estate or related discipline
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience in an investment function; familiar with real estate assets underwriting
- Confident in financial modelling and investment feasibility studies; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Self-starter, able to multi-task effectively and work independently with limited supervision
- Good critical thinking and business acumen, intellectual curiosity balanced with a practical mindset, solution-oriented approach, and a good sense of urgency
