[About the Role]

The successful candidate will lead a team in ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective day-to-day HR operations that are in compliance with HR policies and processes.

Team Management

  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Process Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Design, implement, and optimize HR shared service and adjunct operations processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with internal HR policies and PSD guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and leverage technology to streamline operations.
  • Stay up-to-date on Workday features and best practices to ensure the HR processes remain current and efficient.

Customer Service & Service Delivery

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide good and efficient service.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve HR-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Oversee the delivery of effective and efficient HR services for employee onboarding, contract renewal, retirement, and offboarding.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Oversee the timely and accurate processing of invoices, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained.
  • Actively engage in Workday-related discussions to contribute to system enhancements and modifications.
  • Participate in organization and polytechnic sector projects and discussions.

Qualifications And Skills

  • At least (8) years of experience in HR, with at least (3) years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team-player
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in a shared services environment
  • Knowledge of common productivity tools to aid digitalization efforts, and Workday system would be good (but not a must)
