Are you passionate about Chemistry and love helping students excel academically? Join our growing team of dedicated tutors! We are looking for freelance tutors who are bilingual in both English and Mandarin, to help our students excel in Chemistry at the Secondary level.
Position: Freelance Chemistry Tutor
Responsibilities:
- Teach Chemistry to Secondary (O-level, IGCSE) students
- Provide personalised lesson plans tailored to students' individual needs
- Prepare students for exams with effective strategies and techniques
- Monitor and assess students' progress regularly
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Degree in Chemistry or a related field (e.g., Chemical Engineering). A teaching qualification (e.g., PGDE) is a bonus.
- Teaching Experience: Proven experience teaching Chemistry to secondary school students, particularly for O-level or IGCSE students. Familiarity with the syllabus is essential.
- Subject Expertise: Deep understanding of Chemistry concepts and exam formats (O-level, IGCSE).
- Teaching Skills: Strong understanding of Chemistry concepts, ability to simplify complex topics, excellent communication skills, and ability to make lessons engaging and easy to understand.
- Other Skills: Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping students succeed.
- Flexibility: Available to teach online and/or in-person, with the flexibility to take on part-time or freelance hours.
