JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for the profitability of the chain restaurant outlet. He/she performs outlet-level support functions,
such as customer service, scheduling, handling day-to-day operations, ordering inventory, and back-office support.
He/she demonstrates the recruitment and retention, training, and motivation of staff, and maintains quality control, hygiene, health and safety standards, and customer's experience in the outlet.
Job Description
• Ensure daily opening and closing duties in the outlet are properly executed.
• Maintain an attractive and orderly appearance in the outlet.
• Manage an efficient team of service staff by coach, training, and supervising staff to operate stations and deliver a great customer experience
• Manage overall manpower planning, including planning a daily duty roster to ensure optimum use of manpower in the outlet.
• Maintain a high level of customer service as per QSC standards.
• Perform inventory checks and product ordering.
• Ensure overall store image is maintained and the brand is always well represented.
• Recruit & select staff that meet set expectations and are suited to work in a customer-oriented environment.
• Orientate and train employees and ensure everyone has a complete understanding of the company’s policies by using the operations training manual.
• Develop and motivate team members through capability development.
• Execute any other duties as requested by immediate superiors.
Requirements
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the restaurant industry is required for this position.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.
• Preferably Manager specialized in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service or equivalent.
