Kallang Alive Sport Management Co Pte Ltd (KASM) is the corporate entity established by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, and Sport Singapore to manage the Singapore Sports Hub (SSH) from 9 December 2022. KASM aims to bring to life Singapore’s vision of the SSH as a national icon by maximising the full potential of the integrated sports, entertainment and lifestyle development. We will expand the breadth and quality of world-class events and make the SSH more accessible to the community through inclusive programming. KASM will also enable the integration of the SSH facilities with the rest of the Kallang Alive precinct for a seamless experience for Singaporeans and visitors.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Business Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for providing data-driven insights and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making across various departments within the organization. You will play a crucial role in utilizing data to optimize revenue generation, enhance operational efficiency, and improve the overall customer experience at the Singapore Sports Hub. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytics, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for sports and entertainment.
Key responsibilities will include:
Strategic Planning and Prioritize Analytics Use Cases:
- Provide analytical support for strategic planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define analytics use cases and prioritize based on business impact.
- Lead end-to-end development of prioritized use cases, including project planning and implementation.
- Evaluate the impact of strategic decisions and initiatives through rigorous analysis and measurement of key performance indicators.
Business Intelligence, Report and Visualization:
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance monitoring dashboards and reports with key performance indicators for early warning and decision making
- Transform complex data into easy-to-understand visualizations and storytelling
- Implement functional capabilities to enable business users’ access and utilization of information and insights in the form of self-serve dashboards and reports
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their business requirements and priorities.
- Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner to non-technical audiences.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and department heads, providing insights and guidance to support strategic decision-making.
Continuous Learning and Mentoring:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools in data analysis and visualization.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members in data analysis, interpretation, and presentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data analysis, IT business analysis, application solutioning and design, and testing or a related role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies such as SQL, Python, Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex datasets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in sports/events/customer experience analytics is a plus.
