[What the role is]
The Singapore Tourism Board’s (STB) Communications Division resides within the Marketing Group. The team supports STB in the area of public relations, media engagement and marketing campaigns to drive corporate and destination messaging and safeguards STB’s corporate identity and reputation. As a Strategic Communications Officer, you will be responsible for shaping STB's corporate identity and keeping international and local travel trade informed of STB’s latest developments, through a variety of communications channels and strategies.

The team supports STB in the area of public relations, media engagement and marketing campaigns to drive corporate and destination messaging and safeguards STB’s corporate identity and reputation. As a Strategic Communications Officer, you will be responsible for shaping STB's corporate identity and keeping international and local travel trade informed of STB’s latest developments, through a variety of communications channels and strategies.
[What you will be working on]
- Oversee STB corporate website and the revamp exercise. This would include working closely with external agency and internal line units to curate, review and proof read the content on STB website.
- Support STB’s corporate Social Media platforms. This would include working with external agency and internal line units to develop, curate and populate the content on our social channels such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. The officer would also need to monitor and track social analytics and insights.
- Provide support/manage any other corporate initiatives as requested.
- You will be expected to form and maintain good relationships with fellow STB colleagues at HQ and regional offices at all levels; appointed agencies and vendors for marketing, PR, corporate events and research; and communications officers of other government agencies.
- Experience in website management such as maintaining and updating information on website, copywriting of content etc.
- Experience in social media management such as social calendar planning, development and production of content for respective social platforms.
- Strong team player and collaborative with good interpersonal skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders
- Able to manage multiple projects and work well under pressure within tight timelines
- Meticulous eye for detail and processes
- A strong command of the English language
- Good writing, communication and presentation skills
- At least 3-5 years working experience in relevant fields
