A leading asset management firm is looking for a marketing lead for their growing ETF business in APAC ex Japan. This is a strategic marketing position to lead the creation, maintenance and optimization of marketing initiatives across Asia. Ideal candidate should have at least 10 years experiences in APAC financial industry in marketing functions.

Our client is a leading international asset manager with a growing business in ETF business. They partner closely with insitutional and intermediary clients to provide global ETF solutions. To cope with the business growth, they’re now adding a new head of marketing for ETF business to lead regional marketing initiatives, including product marketing, marketing campaigns, client events, and other analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Be the key stakeholder to design, drive and execute marketing campaigns to support Asia ETF business priorities;
  • Work closely with regional ETF sales team to align with business objectives, marketing plans, and other strategic directions;
  • Actively participate in new fund launches from product marketing’s perspective;
  • Lead and plan for client events, sponsorships to conferences, and other educational events for regional ETF promotions;
  • Proactively work with regional and global stakeholders to identify areas for leverage and synergies;
  • Utilize company’s tools in digital marketing to further enhance client engagements;
  • Ensure all marketing initiatives and communications are properly controlled, according to internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • At least 8-10 years experiences in regional marketing function within financial institutions, including banks, asset management, and wealth management firms.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with regional and global stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in develop and execute strategic marketing plans to foster a growing business.
  • Excellent communications in English, Cantonese and Mandarin are highly preferred.
  • Collaborative and influential across counterparties, while being independent and proactive.
