Job Summary:

As the Strategic Finance Manager at Style Theory, you will lead the financial planning, strategy, and analysis efforts that are pivotal to the company's growth and success. Your role will encompass overseeing the financial health of the company, driving business performance through deep financial insights, and partnering with executive leadership to make informed, strategic decisions. You will also be responsible for managing budgeting processes, capital allocation, fundraising initiatives, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Strategy & Leadership:
  • Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with Style Theory's overall business goals.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO, Board of Directors, and senior leadership team, influencing key decision-making processes.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
  • Lead the FP&A function, delivering accurate financial forecasts, budget plans, and financial models.
  • Analyze business performance, providing insights on opportunities for growth, profitability, and areas of risk.
  • Conduct scenario analysis to assess potential opportunities or threats and recommend courses of action.
  • Budgeting & Reporting:
  • Oversee the annual budgeting process and ensure alignment with business strategies and goals.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting key metrics and actionable insights.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Fundraising & Investor Relations:
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on capital-raising initiatives, including equity and debt financing.
  • Manage relationships with investors, providing transparent communication on financial performance and strategic priorities.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
  • Identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities, contributing to deal structuring, due diligence, and integration plans.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., Product, Marketing, Operations) to align financial goals with business strategies.
  • Support product and market expansion initiatives with financial feasibility analysis and investment prioritization.
  • Risk Management:
  • Develop risk management strategies and processes to protect the company’s financial health.
  • Lead efforts to ensure robust internal controls are in place.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.
  • Ideally experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting and/or prior FP&A experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, with a strong background in strategic planning and financial leadership roles.
  • Experience in the fashion/retail or subscription business model is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in fundraising, capital allocation, and managing investor relations.
  • Strong analytical skills, with expertise in financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Candidate needs to know conversational Bahasa Indonesia to liaise with the Finance team based in Indonesia.
