As the Head of People Operations for the ASMEA region, your duties cover ASEAN, South Asia, the Middle East, and South Africa, and you will be collaborating with HR COEs, HRBPs and Country Local HR teams across ASMEA to align and execute HR strategies & initiatives within the region.

Your primary mission is to lead the local or shared service teams to run an efficient, accurate HR processes for a positive employee as well as candidate experience to ensure outstanding service quality through continuous improvement and compliance.

As Head of People Operations in ASMEA region, you will be supported by respective In-Country HR in the following areas:

  • Process Harmonization: Oversee the implementation and harmonization of HR processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Service Innovations: Drive the introduction of new processes in people operations and services, ensure and encourage best practice sharing based on HR metrics.
  • Data & System Governance: Ensure local teams maintain high-quality data integrity across all HR systems.
  • HR Compliance: Oversee the execution of corporate compliance exercises in relation to both external and internal HR regulations.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with service providers to ensure high-quality and cost-efficient HR service delivery.

As People Operations Lead for Singapore, you will lead a team to:

  • Deliver quality and effective solutions and services to both business and employees in the following HR operational areas:
  • Manage the overall employee lifecycle activities including employment terms & conditions, off-boarding, cross-boarding, and people policy reviews & development.
  • Oversee the execution of compensation, benefits and welfare programs, which includes ensuring the accurate and timely processing & administration of payroll and benefits processing by the team.
  • Manage the industrial and employee relations & processes including disciplinary and grievance cases.
  • Oversee the execution of the recruitment operations processes including work passes, employee records creation and administration for first month onboarding.
  • Execute the annual performance appraisal processes including updates to employee records
  • Oversee the execution of the learning & development function such as grants and funding, training bonds, training reports and course payments, etc.
  • Oversee the maintenance of local/regional HR Information Systems & Reporting to ensure timely and reliable HR data as well as providing HR data and analytics needed to support local business decisions.

Requirements:

Degree qualified preferably in HR with at least 10 years of relevant HR specialist or generalist experience, of which 5 years should be in a managerial role

Familiarity with regional employment regulations with hands-on experience in SAP HR and/or other HRIS is advantageous

Digitally and numerically inclined to manage local systems and reporting

Well organised, process oriented and resourceful with strong stakeholder management skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced technical environment is essential
