Description
  • Assist with monthly financial close and reporting for Singapore entities
  • Assist in the preparation of periodic accounting entries, payments and reconciliations
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to support intercompany activities
  • Assist in the preparation of financial information for external audits and correspond directly with external auditors to provide requested schedules and support
  • Support and ensure compliance with all statutory finance and tax declaration eg GST, income tax
  • Liaise with statutory bodies, banks, and other third-party business partners
  • Proactive in identifying process inefficiencies and offer suggestions for improvements
  • Carry out and assume any other duties or responsibilities

Profile

  • Proficiency in Mandarin is required due to regular communication with Mandarin-speaking counterparts daily
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in book keeping and have knowledge on financial statements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Proficient in MS Office especially MS Excel skills
  • Conscientious and meticulous, good organisational skills, independent
  • Familiar with IFRS and Singapore tax regulations for reporting matters
