Job Description

As a (Senior) Research Engineer in our Robotics & Automation R&D team, you will play a role in conceptualizing, designing, and implementing intelligent robotics solutions that solve challenges across various industries. Leveraging your expertise in robotics, computer vision, AI, and ROS, etc., you will contribute to the development of next-generation robotic platforms that exhibit advanced perception, cognition, and decision-making capabilities. As we continue to expand our horizons, we are seeking a talented Research Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:
  • Algorithm Development: Design and implement algorithms for robot perception, 2D/3D scene understanding, localization and planning to improve the intelligence of robot for addressing the real-world tasks.
  • AI and Learning: Develop, integrate, and deploy advance AI models for various robot tasks such as 2D/3D detection, self-learning, to enhance autonomy for robot tasks such as pick and place, assembly, etc.
  • Robot Planning and Control: Develop robot motion/trajectory planning and control solution using tools such as ROS1/ROS2, MoveIt, Nvidia Issac, etc for robot simulation and control.
  • Prototype Development: Build and iterate on prototypes to validate algorithms and concepts in real-world robotic applications, ensuring robustness and scalability.


Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree holder in Engineering, Robotics, Automation, Computer or related fields.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, and familiarity with software development best practices.
  • Experience in deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and experience with Robot Operation System (ROS).
  • Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies and areas, with a proactive approach to skill development.
