Our client is one of the leaders in the financial sector. They are looking for a skilled Ansible Automation Engineer to design and implement automation solutions that streamline operations and boost efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to create automation solutions using Ansible and other related technologies
  • Develop a central plan for scaling and managing Ansible automation across the organization.
  • Handle OCP Application Onboarding, including namespace creation, quota and role assignment.
  • Create and test digital forms using AngularJS to capture user requirements as per specifications.
  • Write and maintain Ansible playbooks for application onboarding onto OCP, including unit testing.
  • Set up and manage DevOps pipelines for building and releasing Ansible playbooks.
  • Ensure security and compliance by managing credentials, secrets, and automation best practices.
  • Develop automation scripts using Python and PowerShell to optimize workflows.
  • Work with APIs for integration between systems and manage JSON data for configuration.
  • Manage and support automation across Linux, Windows, Core OS, RHEL, and cloud platforms (OCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Utilize GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and JIRA for version control and collaboration with development teams.
  • Use Terraform and CloudFormation to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
  • Integrate automation workflows with ITSM tools to improve service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • More than 3 years of experience in Ansible automation or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Ansible, YAML, and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
  • Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and AngularJS scripting. Experience with Java or Groovy is a plus.
  • Experience in Linux, Windows, Core OS, RHEL, and familiarity with cloud platforms (OCP, AWS).
  • Knowledge of GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and JIRA for version control.
  • Ability to integrate APIs and handle JSON data effectively.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
