About The Role
As an Investment Analyst, you will be an essential part of our Investment & Finance team, working on high-impact projects that span various industries. Reporting directly to the Investment Associate and collaborating closely with our Business Development team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategies that drive our growth. Your responsibilities will cover a broad spectrum, from financial reporting and project financing to capital structuring, with the added responsibility of ensuring that ESG and decarbonization remain central to every project we undertake. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple business lines, contributing directly to our long-term strategic goals.
You will be instrumental in executing key transactions, assisting with financial reporting, and coordinating with external stakeholders across capital markets, treasury, and investor relations. Your role will involve budgeting, forecasting, and optimizing capital structures, while also participating in special projects that require your analytical skills. Market research and analysis will be a core aspect of your role, helping you identify new investment opportunities, industry trends, and potential risks. You'll build and maintain sophisticated financial models that forecast project performance, applying various valuation techniques to guide investment decisions. You'll conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, ensuring all financial, legal, and operational aspects are thoroughly evaluated. Identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies will be key to making informed investment decisions. Collaboration is essential to our success. You’ll work closely with our Business Development, Development, and Energy teams, identifying optimal financial structures and building relationships with stakeholders to drive joint ventures and strategic partnerships. Your communication skills will shine as you prepare reports for senior management, craft investment summaries, and engage with both current and prospective investors to answer their queries and provide clear, concise analysis. As we drive forward with ESG principles, you’ll advocate for and introduce low-carbon energy solutions to ensure we lead the way in sustainability. You'll play a role in implementing decarbonized design solutions that meet the needs of our clients while also promoting our environmental goals. Staying compliant is a top priority. You’ll ensure that every transaction and project complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards, particularly across the APAC region.
Skills And Experience Needed
They looking for an individual with at least two years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity. Experience in real estate and infrastructure transactions within the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, particularly in data centers and renewables, will set you apart. A strong academic background in Finance, Real Estate, or a related discipline is essential. You’ll need to demonstrate a track record of managing complex transactions and working effectively with investors, landowners, and banks across APAC markets such as Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, and more.
Proficiency in financial modeling is a must, as you’ll be working with complex data sets and need strong analytical and quantitative skills to perform investment analysis. You should have the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and possess excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate across different teams. Your written and verbal communication skills should be top-notch, enabling you to articulate key project insights to stakeholders at all levels.
