Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing and organizing training for operations teams, working closely with the P&C department.
  • Assist in project system setup, reporting, and companywide meetings.
  • Assist in updating and implementing Project Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Plans.
  • Assist in reviewing project safety documentation, including Safe Work Method Statements.
  • Assist in incident investigations and the development of lessons learned.
  • Provide awareness training on all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) deliverables required under the company's policies and procedures.
  • Participate in project risk and opportunity workshops.
  • Lead the region for health, safety, and environmental control to ensure all work is completed in accordance with required standards, legal requirements, and ISO standards.
  • Participate in the internal audit schedule and ensure timely closure of all Health, Safety & Environmental corrective actions resulting from audits.
  • Carry out regular project site H&S inspections according to an agreed schedule.

Your Experience

  • Proven experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental management, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards 9001, 14001, and 45001.
  • Experience in conducting and leading audits.
  • Familiarity with incident investigation processes and developing lessons learned.
  • Ability to provide effective training and induction sessions.
  • Strong understanding of H&S legislation, regulations, standards, and codes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across disciplines and teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the creation of a high-performing team.
  • Ability to identify and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
