What The Role Is:

The incumbent will oversee the Career Health SG (CHSG) portfolio as part of the MOM Communications and Engagement Department’s Strategic Planning team. The Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the development and execution of an integrated public communications strategy as we work towards launching the nationwide movement and sustaining high-key communications efforts.

What You Will Be Working On

What you will be working on:

The incumbent’s work will result in: (i) a cohesive brand identity for Career Health SG across all platforms and agencies; (ii) the development of strategic communications and engagement plans with clear call-to-action to drive awareness and/or adoption of Career Health SG tools; as well as (iii) the implementation of integrated public comms approach to promote Career Health SG. The responsibilities include:

  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to develop and roll out the Career Health SG brand, such as via strategic communications and engagement plans and key messages, and to facilitate cross-agency brand adoption and ensure consistent messaging.
  • Monitoring and evaluating effectiveness of the multi-agency communications and engagement efforts. This includes providing updates to senior management and proposing interventions if necessary.
  • Providing strategic communications support to MOM Divisions and partner agencies on crafting and nuancing public communication messaging for policies. This includes identifying possible derailers to the communications and proposing interventions where necessary.


What We Are Looking For

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in corporate communications, partnerships and engagement, marketing and digital communications or equivalent.
  • Experience in public communications is an advantage.
  • Well versed in public communications with strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Good understanding of current affairs.
  • Good interpersonal skills; ability to identify focus areas, interpret data, influence, negotiate and implement public communications strategies / tactics.
  • Good project management skills with ability to multi-task and deliver good outcomes under pressure and fast-changing conditions.
  • Committed and energetic team player.
  • Resourceful and able to respond quickly and effectively to dynamic and sensitive situations.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
