We are looking for Food Science and Technology intern to join our R&D team. As a Food R&D intern, you would be involved in analyzing data and documentation filling to support the R&D teams. You will work with the Food Technology team to develop solutions at the product level while maintaining and enhancing the food quality.

Job Descriptions

  • Assist in Product R&D projects trial.
  • Conduct technical evaluation for new products samples produced in our R&D laboratory
  • Assist in Packaging design especially technical contents involved (accuracy and compliance to country regulations).
  • Conduct validation of shelf life or shelf life studies.
  • Facilitate new R&D product sample preparations.
  • Technical evaluation of new raw materials.
  • Handle all filing of R & D documentations including Customer Requirement Files, Halal Certification file and support R&D/QA Manager in documents update relevant to R&D/QA systems.
  • Update ISO/HACCP documents when changes occur
  • Responsible for laboratory routine house-keeping program (5’S)
  • Support QA/QC functions when needed e.g. issues investigation and report writing.
  • Do other task assigned by superior.

Requirements

  • Diploma/ Degree in Food Science or Food Technology
  • Self-starter, results oriented, and able to multi-task.
  • Must be forward-thinking.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Have great attention to detail and ability to keep detailed written records.
  • Have strong communication skills including verbal and written (English).
