Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services, the role will be responsible for supporting cost management and ensuring that projects are executed in accordance with established governance frameworks and standards.

This role involves monitoring project performance, identifying risks, and providing recommendations to improve project governance. On top of that this role involves collecting and analyzing data to estimate costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and providing detailed reports to management.

Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Collect and analyze data to estimate costs related to labor, materials, overhead, and other operational expenses.
  • Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
  • Perform cost variance analysis, comparing budgeted costs to actual costs.
  • Perform risk analysis to identify potential cost overruns and mitigate risks.
  • Assist in financial planning and forecasting activities.
  • Identify and partner various stakeholders to drive optimization initiatives across Corporate Services (Third Party Risk Management, Procurement and Workplace Services) with the aim to drive operational efficiency, cost savings or risk mitigation
  • Work with Workplace Services vendors on gathering utilities consumption data and travel information and analyze for ESG reporting
  • Provide project management oversight on Corporate Services Strategic Projects
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure effective governance practices.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word and Power Apps
  • Experience of using Source-to-Pay system will be a plus
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-driven, independent and able to work under pressure
  • Ability to cope with complexity and takes initiative
  • Ability to work with others as a team player
  • Customer focus and service orientation

Work Experience

  • Candidate must have minimally 3 years of work experience, preferably reporting or project management
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation skills with strong influencing and persuasive talents.
  • Self-motivated, takes initiative and has the ability to effectively organize, multi-task and prioritize a wide array of initiatives.
  • Has an aptitude for innovation.
  • High integrity and ethics.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree as a minimum academic qualification
