MANAGER / DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of the industry development team, tasked to shape and develop a robust land transport ecosystem in Singapore. A major function of the role is to develop and implement sector-level strategies and initiatives, and work with fellow LTA groups and industry partners to build a highly resilient and future-ready land transport ecosystem that supports LTA’s goals under Land Transport Masterplan 2040.

You will be part of a team to:

  • Gather and analyse relevant data to obtain insights and identify market/sector gaps for targeted industry segments and/or land transport domains to support LTA’s operational needs;
  • Conceptualise and develop strategies and initiatives for targeted industry segments to address market/sector gaps;
  • Obtain buy-in and support from LTA management and relevant stakeholders for proposed strategies and initiatives;
  • Project manage industry development initiatives and industry engagement events;
  • Manage strategic collaborations with industry partners and/or Government agencies;
  • Establish platforms/channels with industry and other Government agencies to promote sharing of ideas and concerns to facilitate industry development.


[What we are looking for]

  • Tertiary qualification preferably in Engineering, Technology-related fields Business Administration or any equivalent;
  • At least 3 years of work experience with at least 2 years in industry engagement/business development;
  • Relevant knowledge of the technology landscape and/or land transport sector will be a plus;
  • Strong situational awareness, good analytical and strategic thinking skills;
  • Self-starter with strong stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills;
  • Motivated, resourceful and able to work independently as well as in a team;
  • Possess good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel etc.);
  • Experience in event management, marketing and outreach activities will be a plus.
