As part of the Wealth Management IT Operations Division, the Senior Business Analyst (SBA) will lead the business analysis for core banking platforms, corporate actions, payments, and reconciliation systems. The SBA will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure optimal solutions are delivered, integrated, and aligned with project governance, standards, and reusable solutions across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and structure new requirements with stakeholders.
  • Lead the creation of functional solutions with business and IT teams.
  • Define and manage the implementation roadmap with technical support.
  • Drive use case development for Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Oversee solution design, validation, and approval processes (architecture, IT risk, security, budget).
  • Ensure project governance and coordinate implementations.
  • Manage user workshops, risk identification, and issue tracking.
  • Plan and manage migration strategies and change management activities.
  • Act as the main point of contact for user representatives.
  • Communicate proactively with internal and external parties to gather information, create functional specifications, and design workflows.
  • Coordinate cross-team efforts across multiple divisions and locations.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
  • At least 7 years as a Business Analyst in the banking industry, with experience in core banking systems such as Olympic, Transact or T24 preferred.Deep understanding of core banking processes and features, including transaction capture, settlement, and accounting booking, corporate actions processing and accounts reconciliation.
  • Expert knowledge of financial products such as securities, payments, money markets, FX, credit, derivatives, structured products, commodities, and mutual funds.
  • Experience with AS400 systems is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, and SQL Scripts.
  • Familiarity with project management, issue tracking, and release management tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow, PPM tools).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
  • Strong ability to interact professionally with diverse teams and stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and senior management.
