What The Role Is

You will work on implementation, operational, and ops-policy matters in a new division for an ongoing workstream related to the enforcement of civil judgments. The new division will work closely with the Civil & Legislative Policy Division (“CLPD”), which oversees the policy matters for the workstream.

What You Will Be Working On

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operational functions in licensing and regulatory functions relating to the enforcement of civil judgments.
  • Implementing and reviewing frameworks and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that the process remains effective, and


gathering feedback and data to identify areas of improvement;

  • Design and development of training and education programmes;
  • Investigating complaints in respect of conduct of regulated persons;
  • Enhancement of the IT systems and other administrative matters; and
  • Continued public communications and engagement.

  • [Planning and Managing Operations] Plan and/or execute daily operations according to Standard Operating Procedures to optimise enforcement functions. Establish processes and systems, and adjust resources (e.g. manpower and assets, outsourced partners) to achieve enforcement outcomes.
  • [Leveraging on technology] Keep up to date on technological trends relevant to my work in enforcement, and adopt relevant technology-enabled solutions to address current and future enforcement challenges.
  • [Application of law] Demonstrate understanding of and apply the fundamental legal principles, laws, legislation and government regulation to own areas of work.
  • [Demonstrating Resilience] Demonstrate emotional resilience and courage to overcome difficulties, persevering in driving towards purposeful outcomes.
  • [Processing Cases] Ensure that each step in the case management process is carried out with professionalism and integrity.


Work Experience Required / Personal Traits

  • A law degree/diploma would be an advantage
  • A strong foundation in litigation, investigation/enforcement, advisory, and/or policy work
  • Prior experience in licensing, regulatory work, legal drafting and/or development/management of IT systems will be an advantage, but is not a pre-requisite for the role
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Have a keen interest in the development of policies and operational work
  • Self-motivation and discipline
  • Strong teamwork and ability to work with stakeholders
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-moving environment
  • A passion to serve the public and make a difference to society


Successful candidates will be offered a 1-year contract in the first instance.
