What The Role Is
As Senior Manager (Corporate Communications), you will report to the Assistant Director and be part of the team at PA that conceptualises and drives impactful integrated communications plans for the community programmes and initiatives of PA. What You Will Be Working On
- Conceptualise message-driven communications strategy, as well as manage and execute communications plans for PA programmes and announcements. This includes developing key messages for various mainstream media and social media channels, preparation of press materials and content for other PA channels, and media engagement to drive positive media coverage
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including ground comms staff, divisions, grassroots volunteers and Whole-of-Government communications teams, to ensure consistent branding and messaging
- Maintain a keen sense and understanding of the trending news and issues which are of interest to our audiences and stakeholders and to PA
- Identify and create opportunities of positive publicity for PA and the work we do
- Develop issues and crisis communications plans to minimise reputational risk
- Relevant qualifications in Mass Communications or related fields
- Four years’ experience in strategic communications and/or media relations
- Strong writing and presentation skills
- Good project management skills
- Able to think creatively and is a team player
- Strong interpersonal skills
