We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Operations Manager to join our dynamic team and support our Operations Manager in ensuring flawless execution of daily operations and long-term success.

  • Support the Operations Manager: Assist the Operations Manager in key tasks such as overseeing restaurant operations, managing staff, and ensuring service quality. Step in to manage day-to-day operations when needed.
  • Assist in daily restaurant operations: Collaborate with the Operations Manager to oversee front-of-house, back-of-house, and guest relations, ensuring all shifts operate seamlessly.
  • Team Leadership: Support, train, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional service. Help with scheduling, team development, and shift management.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food, beverage, and service quality meet the restaurant’s high standards. Work with chefs, bartender, and service staff to maintain consistency.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in overseeing inventory levels, control costs, and manage vendor relationships. Ensure efficient supply management to avoid disruptions to service.
  • Customer Service: Address customer concerns, complaints, or special requests, ensuring a seamless and luxurious dining experience.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation standards are met. Assist in training staff on compliance with local, state, and federal food safety guidelines.
  • Financial Management: Support the Operations Manager in monitoring budgets, payroll, and profitability reports. Help with cost control, revenue maximization, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in executing private events, wine tastings, and special promotions. Work with the marketing team to ensure successful events.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years in restaurant operations with leadership roles, preferably in a fine dining environment.
  • Degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field is preferred but not required. Relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Acute financial management skills, strong business acumen and excellent knowledge of latest sales and marketing trends;
  • Proven ability to manage and inspire a diverse team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to effectively interact with guests, staff, and vendors.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring that every element of the restaurant operates smoothly and meets luxury standards.
  • Ability to quickly resolve issues and ensure minimal disruption to service.
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences in a fine dining setting.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications for administrative work
