RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess and ensure the safe and effective application of clinical skills by nursing staff and students upon entry into the clinical environment.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of tailored simulated skills assessments to enhance nursing competencies.
• Provide comprehensive evidence for the ongoing evaluation and improvement of nursing practices and patient care standards.
• Evaluate the clinical skills of nursing staff and students to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops on clinical skills and best practices for nursing staff and students.
• Mentor and support nursing staff in their professional development, encouraging continuous learning and improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of skills assessments and training sessions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support the care staff in attending to the needs of the residents for activities of daily living.

QUALIFICATIONS

Registered in Singapore Nursing Board as Register Nurse
