What the role is

This opening is for a role in SkillsFuture Singapore’s Strategic Planning Division.

What we do:

The Strategic Planning Division is part of the Planning Group in. We drive strategic coherence across the organisation, while sparking new forms of thinking and conceptualise new national and agency level policies to advance the mission in supporting the movement. We also advance research aligned to the strategic priorities to facilitate evidence-based policymaking, programme development and improvements to practice.

What you will be working on

Your portfolio will include the following:

  • Strategising and planning short-to-medium term corporate strategies and aligning whole-of-agency direction to map out the year-on-year priorities.

  • Conceptualising, tracking and reporting corporate KPIs to ensure SSG’s longer term targets remain on track.

  • Driving collaboration with sister agency Workforce Singapore (WSG) to strengthen Jobs-Skills nexus with joint strategies, workstreams and indicators.

  • Planning and overseeing Board portfolio including the selection, appointment and renewal of members to advise on and support strategic direction and corporate priorities.

  • Performing secretariat duties for key meeting platforms.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Synthesise a broad range of information, with an eye for detail, and logically structure and substantiate findings and applications using both written and visual formats.

  • Communicate clearly in both written and verbal form.

  • Multi-task effectively and balance competing or changing priorities, at times under tight deadline and with some ambiguity.

  • Engage with various stakeholders and drive fruitful collaborations.

  • Be resourceful and has a strong drive to get things done.

  • Anticipate needs and make judgement calls within your sphere of responsibilities.

Prior experience in organisation development (OD) and data analytics will be an advantage.

Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
